How to successfully sell a house thru Century 21?
Author: admin // Category: Sell House QuicklyI have a house in Mexico and I’m using Century 21, it’s been 7 months now with no buyer. I live in the US. What are your recommendations for the houser to be sold more quickly? Any input is greatly appreciated!
Check up on your agent, inquire as to how much advertising she is personally doing, where, how often. Get copies of it. Just because an agency is international, doesn’t mean that your house is getting exposure. Has it had many showings? if so, with no offers, the price is probably too high.
Also check if the house is in good shape when it is shown. Being far away, you need to have an agent that is willing to get the place ready to show, if you cannot be there. Good Luck.

Tons of peeps here post to buy home homes in Mexico. Ask for an update on showings, inquiries, marketing efforts and an updated market analysis.
Have you had any price reductions? Has the agent recommended anything that has not yet been implemented?
If not, it may be time to find a new agent.

CENTURY21 and Re/Max are the best real estate companies to use right now to sell a house because they have international exposure. However, if I were you I would contact the Broker of the CENTURY21 office and see what he/she has to say. It also may be time get a different agent. You may need to reduce the price!

I am not familiar with the housing market in Mexico but I do know that the US market is quite a challenge right now to get things sold. I had a house on the market for over a year and it was so frustrating!
